- Greetings, Just acquired a 2020 Pilot EX-L. Will be doing my own oil changes. Owner’s Guide says use Honda oil, but I’m curious as to what others are using. With a 15000 interval, I’m assuming that any synthetic oil 0-20w would be acceptable. What say you?

2016 Honda Pilot
Jun 19, 2016 I have several Hondas in the past but I am stymied by putting music on a USB. All of my tunes are on iTunes. I tried cxoverting them to MP# files and dumping to a USB and that didn't work. How do I format the USB into FAT32 format? And then how do Iget my tunes to download from iTunes to the USB.

CarComplaints.com Notes: It's worrying when the top category for 2016 Honda Pilot problems are transmission problems. Owners report jerking when accelerating. Also as the first model year of the redesigned 3rd generation Pilot, it's not a good sign.
Honda released a TSB on October 29 2016 that's possibly related. The TSB deals with a 'a judder from the torque converter lock-up clutch .. while driving between 20 and 60 mph' due to deteriorated transmission fluid resulting from 'specific driving conditions'. In the TSB, Honda states they are developing a software fix to try to keep the transmission fluid temperature within spec.
We are keeping a close eye on this defect trend because if certain driving conditions can affect transmission shifting in the first year of ownership, we'd hate to think what 10+ years will do.

North america facts. We have tried formatting USB drives using the only options in window 7, using USB's that are compatible with windows 7, and putting music on them by using the laptop to take music from CD and downloading it directly to a 16g thumbdrive that was formatted to FAT32 for example. Why the heck has Honda make using USB's so darn hard when they have eliminated a CD player so that you can't play your favorite music that you have assembled thru the years? I am so frustrated by Honda because of this little item.
